These terms govern your use of our careers site and employee portal, including submitting an application and signing documents electronically.
This agreement
These terms govern your use of careers.geinsgroup.com, operated by Greenpoint Insurance Brokers Inc. and Ella Insurance Brokerage Inc. By using the site, submitting an application, or signing in to the employee portal, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who may use the site
You must be at least 16 years old to submit an application. The employee portal is available only to people we have issued an account to. Accounts are personal to you: do not share your password, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.
Signing in with Google does not create an account. It signs you in to an account we have already created for you.
What you submit
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you tell us. Information that is false, or that deliberately leaves out something material, may end your application or, if you have already been hired, your employment.
Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, anything containing another person's confidential information, or anything malicious. We may remove any submission and suspend any account that breaches these terms.
Electronic signatures
Where the site asks you to type your full name or draw a signature and confirm a statement, you agree that doing so is your electronic signature and has the same legal effect as a signature written by hand. You agree to receive the related records electronically. If you would prefer to sign on paper, contact Human Resources and we will arrange it.
No offer of employment
Nothing on this site is an offer of employment or a promise of any particular terms, compensation or duration. A job posting may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Employment, if offered, is subject to a separate written offer and to our normal pre employment checks.
Where employment is offered and accepted, it is at will unless a separate written agreement signed by an authorised officer says otherwise. Nothing on this site alters that.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we may update these terms. If we change them materially, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Our content
The site, its design, text, logos and job descriptions are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them only to browse roles and to apply. You keep ownership of what you upload, and you give us permission to store, reproduce and share it internally for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
